About Keri

Keri Homer grew up on the CA hunter/jumper circuit.  She has been blessed with a full spectrum of equine education. She rode with Ed Marcy in the childrens and Bob and Debbie McDonald as a junior rider. Keri rode annually in George Morris clinics to strengthen her skills while competing on the A circuit.  As an adult, Keri learned all aspects of training Thoroughbreds for the race track. While on the racetrack Keri honed her craft by focusing on re-habilitating the equine athlete.  During this time she also became very interested in breeding horses at their family farm.  Her family farm consisted of up to 120 Thoroughbred mares, foals, yearlings and stallions.  She has extensive farm management experience and spent time managing an even larger farm in NY.

Keri took a break from the wonderful world of thoroughbred racing and breeding to return to what she loves best. She began teaching adults the art of riding and found that many were struggling with "grown up" fears and found ways to break through that fear. She loves to teach and wants her riders to succeed and will do her best to help them achieve their dreams.

Along with preparing adult amateur riders for the show ring, Keri also offers her professional re-hab skills as well as mare foaling and care to both full time residents of the farm and temporary outside guests.
