WELCOME TO RISING PHOENIX EQUINE CENTER
RISING PHOENIX EQUINE CENTER is changing and growing.
Life is about growth and about change. Our horses teach us this each and every day. Sometimes it is hard to make changes when it takes us out of our comfort zone. As horsewomen, we understand the importance of changing what we do with our horses in order to accommodate our relationship and wellbeing of our horses. We understand that growth sometimes can push out old habits that we once had when interacting with our equine friends.
This is true for our personal growth as well. There is always a feeling of well-being and energy as we move forward with our dreams and desires. As we move forward there can also be an awareness that old habits, old ways of dealing with change may need to be removed. With growth and awareness there is friction with that which we thought comfortable, even though it may not be what is best for us in a new age. Letting go of the old ways, letting go of the toxins that while comfortable they were infringing on what was best for us can be terrifying. It can be painful even. But once aware of what is good for our souls, it is even more painful to continue in the old light. The Phoenix symbolizes re-birth and awakening. It has been a symbol dear to my soul and resonates perfectly with the growth I seek within me.
Rising Phoenix started as a small boutique hunter/jumper show barn. Those who called it their barn home have enjoyed its unique camaraderie and the belief that our horses came first over competition. Over the years we have been at some wonderful places and we enjoyed our horses and friends. The desire to put horses first gave rise to the need to add a more structured look at equine rehabilitation. Being an owner/trainer and breeder of Thoroughbreds for many years both on the racetrack and in the show ring, it has been my desire to make sure they had optimal health both physically and mentally and well as spiritually. The process began and there were plans made. But as time went on it was clear that the process was not what was in the dream. The future of Rising Phoenix is about re-birth and rising above the standard to a higher reality. For some, this may sound a little out there but it is my dream and my desire to live up to my potential as an advocate for horses and their partners.
The future is bright! Check back often as we move forward with a fresh look, a renewed energy and a solid vision. We will be offering training, and rehabilitation with a holistic approach. Our therapies will be solid, based on research and a healthy combination of modern practices and ancient arts. We will not bow to market conformity and everything equus will be thoughtful and with their well being the most important thing.
Please contact us for more information or if you would like to be involved. We will have several practitioners from multiple disciplines available for the care of your horse.
This is a year of change, of setting that which is needed in motion. The old has fallen away and the new brings the promise of a great connection with our horses, our friends and our mentors. REJOICE!
