Here are a few comments about Rising Phoenix Eq Center:
Keri is a wonderful trainer, she’s extremely knowledgeable and is patient, supportive and encouraging in her teaching method. She took the time to find out what my riding goals are as well as my fears. She did an evaluation to see what my skill level was and then came up with a plan that would improve my basic riding skills and establish a solid foundation for me to become a hunter/jumper. Keri is both professional and personable, I have really enjoyed working with her. And the facility is just beautiful, it makes each lesson that much more enjoyable and relaxing. I have seen a huge improvement in my riding ability and it’s all because of Keri’s guidance and support!
Thanks Keri!

"Keri Homer and Rising Phoenix Equestrian Center is an outstanding facility for the adult rider focused on a balanced seat philosophy dedicated to the cultivation and support of all levels of riding. Every individual, equine or rider, participates in a fully tailored program based on the needs and advancement of each participant. The facility, the trainer, and those that are a part of the organization grow and are supported by the friendly family-like atmosphere that aids each and every rider and horse in their desired direction and discipline." “Keri has been my instructor for little over a year and I continue to be blown away by the progress I've made under her instruction. She is always giving me exciting, challenging techniques to keep my new and old skills well honed. She has a wealth of knowledge about horses which shows when anyone sees the beautiful athletic horses in her care. Keri and the barn community are a close niche group of people that are always supportive and encouraging of other student’s advancements.” A Kelly, Escondido CA
“I am a 26-year-old military spouse who has recently returned to the world of hunter/jumper training. I began at age 8 and rode steadily for more than 6 years. I took a hiatus during high school and college and then rode dressage informally for two years before moving to Southern California in October 2008. I found Keri in November and began the tough but fulfilling road back to getting in shape. She kicked my butt that first month or two, leading me to feel so sore that I could feel my back muscles while brushing my teeth – but, man, it felt great! She has really brought me back to the basics and the core of riding, allowing me to reinforce what I had learned years ago while building new skills. She pushes when appropriate but really enjoys listening and responding to her students.” E Slabaugh, Oceanside
When I came to Keri, I was in need of a solid, yet fair, instructor that could help me correct years of bad habits and make me reach my potential. After only a few lessons, I knew that I found so much more that I was asking for. To have someone fully understand me as a rider and to know how to fix all issues I have, whether it would be mental or physical, is priceless in my book. I am blessed to have her as a trainer and as a friend. B Walker, Camp Pendleton
